The story behind this memory quilt is a sad one.  The father of the little boy this was made for passed a few months before he was born. I knew I wanted to make something that would remind him of the father he never knew every time he used it.  I took several t-shirts from his father and combined them with rockets and robots.  Even though it was for an infant, I chose fabrics that for an older boy so that he could use it for years to come.  While it is not the most complex quilts I have made, it remains one of the most special things I have ever made.
